Excellent breakfast choices , no need for the extra payment for a cooked breakfast - there was already so much choice for what to eat! Comfortable, clean, warm rooms with fluffy pillows and a super thick duvet. Staff went over and above to be helpful - they couldn't have done more to ensure my needs were met.

Centrally located opposite the railway station and, although there were no lifts as it is a listed building, the staff were more than helpful with trying to accommodate my needs (I am disabled). Room was clean, private bathroom adequate and bed comfortable. As I had to leave before breakfast was being served on my first day, they very kindly made me up a breakfast bag (various fruits, filled crepe, croissant, breakfast bars, granola bars etc}. If travelling to Nottingham again, I would definitely stay there.

Friendly, helpful staff and an excellent location close to the places we planned to visit. Good continental breakfast selection and very comfortable beds. Easy access vi key cards with back-up also emailed for additional security.

The room was nice - top floor and lots of stairs but that was ok as we were only there one night. Bathroom a little dated and it was a very warm couple of days - no air con but there was an old fan in the room which worked fine. The breakfast was really good and a nice departure from the usual full english!

Excellent location - directly next to the station, so handy leaving hotel minutes before catching train. Location also very central and great for pubs, bars and football too. Also, very conveniently, Tesco Metro located next to hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast not great - continental with packets of waffles etc - but great for the price to be fair!

The staff were very friendly! They are quite accommodating too. They allowed us checked in a bit earlier since we arrived early. You might want to anticipate a bit of noise in the day time since the hotel is located on the first and 2nd floor, of which underneath is a bar. But it was fine! Not bothering us. There is no lift hence we need to carry our luggages and baby stroller up to 2nd floor. Otherwise, quite reasonable price for a hotel that you can find just in front of the train station entrance!

Hotel was comfy and cosy, the room was a good size and I loved the stained glass in the bathroom!😍 very clean overall, cannot fault the room! I also liked that there was hot chocolate sachets in the room too! The staff were so sweet and said hello every time I saw them! Continental breakfast was lovely, self serve and plenty of choice and everything was clean and covered!

The staff were lovely and friendly the entire stay and the breakfast was lovely in the mornings. The room was surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be and it was spotless even when I checked harder to get to areas! Overall it was a very lovely and cute hotel.

Brilliant location for train travellers; also v good for access to city centre. Large and pleasantly furnished room. Very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities in room. No problem with shared bathroom which was opposite my room. Good showers. Buffet breakfast included in price had an extensive choice and good coffee. Charming dining room (Grade 2 listed building.) Perhaps best of all was the real warmth and helpfulness of staff who were v obliging about my slightly early check-in and about guarding my luggage post check-out. Would definitely recommend (unless you have problems climbing two flights of stairs.)

Great location, close to the venue I was working at for the weekend. Good transport links nearby if you need them, plenty of places for food & drink. It was a really cosy and clean hotel, quiet and just what I needed. The staff were also excellent, we sat in the bar in the evening and had a brilliant time. The staff behind the bar were great company too. In the morning the staff dealing with breakfast were also lovely and really helpful.
